Multi Species Bat Roost / Maternity Box

Our handmade bespoke wildlife products can take up to four weeks to build and deliver if we don't have them in stock.

This new design has all the robust and enduring qualities of the NR  range that ensure its 20 year guarantee promise. 

The box provides habitat for a wide range of bat species and may be occupied as a summer roost, maternity roost or even hibernaculum. 

The dual entrance design allows for access from both the front and the underside of the box whilst the internal baffles minimise drafts and provide multiple roosting opportunities.  

Larger species, such as Noctule - Nyctalus noctula - can use the broader internal cavity, textured walls and internal ceiling as hanging space whilst small cavity loving species such as Pipistrelles can find refuge through the internal access ports into narrow secluded spaces with ample textured hanging surfaces. 

For licensed inspection / monitoring and cleaning of the box, the base can be released and hinged away. There is an internal protective shield on the internal floor made with our recycled farm plastic, to further protect the base from the effects of bat guano. 

The BATB Bat Box can be wall or tree mounted.
