Rustic Nest Box

Designed and handmade in our UK Workshops Using FSC®-certified cedar from the Forest of Dean.

The Nest Box is rugged and practical with all an screwed construction. Slow seasoned timber without chemical treatments is both naturally durable & environmentally responsible. Please note the Timber will silver with age but solid construction gives a long lasting nest box.

The Box can be treated with water-based exterior varnish to extend life, if desired. A recycled plastic hanger allows it to be fixed to tree post or wall.

The entrance hole should face between North and South east to avoid chicks over heating.

Clean out old nesting material in Autumn Nest box opens for cleaning by unscrewing top screw (in screw cup) on hanger and swivelling the lid.

Birds will rebuild nest with nesting materials of their choice in early Spring from February onwards. Perfect for all gardens, conservation areas and rewilding projects
